How to stay motivated as an indie creative with Maggie Daniels
In this episode I talk to poet, writer, director Maggie Daniels on how to stay motivated as an indie creative. Maggie explains how writing her poetry book Swimming helped through a traumatic experience. She says finding “your people” is super important and that when you are an independent artist, you’ll find out that it’s all in who you know. She pushed through trauma by making a trailer for a script she wrote called Tanglewood based on a true story. Being passionate about a story you’re telling and working towards your goals every day no matter the size of task are things we cover in this episode as well. So join us on this magical episode and follow Maggie’s heartfelt journey by tuning in.
